A L'Arche Community in Glasgow, which will provide a home where people with learning disabilities and their assistants live and work together, has come a step nearer with the decision by L'Arche Northern Europe to approve this as their latest project.

The decision means that the informal group, which has been working for a number of years towards a L'Arche presence in Glasgow, now has the formal backing of L'Arche in the UK. It can call upon the expertise, help and advice of L'Arche UK and of others in the international L'Arche family, which has 120 Communities in 30 countries.
